I know a few people in the sheetmetal/HVAC trades and added this page for them. Sheet metal welding is a whole new ball game. You only get one chance to get it right. Most of my welding career was spent on heavy structural and pressure vessel weldments. My first week welding sheet metal was a humbling experience to say the least. I did eventually get the hang of it, but that short job left me with a whole new respect for the people that do it every day. They make it look a lot easier than it really is.
