@IceTreyMan ..and the way they got their money was by creating a union, and holding the city hostage until they got more money.Meanwhile, old people with no money forwent medication, and doctor's appointments because they couldn't afford a $50 cab ride.PLUS, Septa workers are unprofessional, incompetent, ghetto/rude/trashy, and are bottom of the barrel when it comes to customer service.

The Dirty SOB's! Thats to the workers of the union that walked out. I had to get downtown on the 2nd day of the strike for a meeting. It took me 3 1/2 hrs to make a 45 minute drive! In the end I lost 5 hrs of overtime thanks to these freakin greedy idiots! Every company is making cuts so what makes these guys too good to have anything cut?

The Union is trying to get more money and a better pension and because of that, the people who barely get by with minimum wage and no pension suffer. robertisjay is right, So far the Union is the one who keeps walking out. Rendell even shows up and offers money that he shouldn't even need to give and they still walk out. Even Nutter, who I personally hate, is doing his best to try to make the people of Philadelphia a little happier. I think the Union needs to stop being greedy.

I think there are a bunch of jealous folks out there. They're jealous because they percieve someone else (SEPTA employees) as doing better than themselves. Instead of being angry that SEPTA pays the workers more than they get, why don't they try getting a decent job themselves, and not begrudge someone who is looking to maintain a decent standard of livin?.
