nice weld even tho i do a different technique this works good, try doin a weaving motion and stop at the ends just a lil to prevent undercut and go up about an 1/8 in everytime

There's not many situations where you go uphill or vertical as it's known in Blighty. Downhill or downhand is definately the best for MIG.

I have been welding for 20 years and have NEVER seen or heard of pulling the puddle down hill while welding uphill. Ever heard of gravity? By the way by pulling the puddle down your trapping slag in the weld. If your gonna weld uphill always move up!!!!!

I have been welding for 20 years. Almost all of it vertical and have NEVER seen or heard of anyone ever pulling the puddle downhill while going uphill. WTF . Ever heard of gravity and you are also trapping slag in the weld by weaving down back over the weld. Gonna weld uphill always keep moving up. DUHHH
