@Deisinoful You can say everything you want, but i live in friuli venezia GIULIA, the region is not Friuli, Friuli is a a part of it. The region is Friuli Venezia Giulia. (FVG) , somebody can calls all the region Friuli, but is wrong.A friend of mine knows well Elisa, she is from Monfalcone, Gorizia. Go there and ask if they are Friulani and you will understand....

@isaacrimor I regret to say you are riding a dead horse. However passionate may be the advocacy by the residents for toponymic accuracy, to the rest of Italy the region's name is Friuli, without further headaches. Admittedly you have a point with Raul Casadei, but by custom what appears accurate about Emilia-Romagna, appears goddamn pedantic when it comes to Friuli. It's unfair, very unfair, I know, but it's just the way it is

@Deisinoful The region is Friuli-venezia-giulia, it is like to say the Casadei and the liscio is from Emilia.....In Venezia and in Giulia we talk 'Veneto' In Friuli the 'ladino'If Elisa was from Friuli she had a different, very different regional accent. @isaacrimor last time I checked Gorizia was in Friuli. But after all we Italian terroni are so dim that we go along the official maps of the Italian Republic and aren't updated about Padania's latest events. Either way Elisa's regional accent sounds beautifully to my southern ears

@Deisinoful she is not Friulana, but Giuliana from Gorizia
