I am in the process of developing an eco village. I first want to get as much info as possible. I interesting that I do not see to many ecovillages using sterling engines combined with the solar power array.

curious about the grey water system with the showers / cleaning area(?). any ifo on black water? what do you do about hormones (birth control) water conservation issues.

its green hay that produces enough heat to catch fire if its stacked to tightly in the barn. We had some to catch fire that way. People build houses out of straw and stucco them so I don't think its a fire hazard like green hay is...

@CANvsDK in the grey water.. not too much in the way of mosquitoes. the soaps kill the bacteria that the larvae need to survive. My mom and i use grey water from the washer on our front yard. It keeps ants, butterfly eggs & aphids out of the lawn as well..

i like th green house but id be worried about the bails catching fire i know large staks of hey can catch fire due to its own heatproducing chemical reactions does anybody know if a bail of hey has the same problem

probably, but you could add fish that eat the bugs. |
