Great video, 90% of the information in this video wasn't in any of the other basic "how to" web pages.

Good tips! However, something I feel is important to add is a mistake many people make - they start out buying a crude Radio Shack iron that has only a nickle plated copper tip. While it is true someone with decent solder skills can get the job done with such a tip when new, this type of tip rapidly wears away, is eaten up by flux, etc, so for best results always pick an iron with an Iron-Clad tip, and when possible try to avoid cleaning with a wet sponge because the clad tip can fracture.

Awesome, this really helps things out. No side tracked BS, just straight up Do's and Dont's. Couldn't ask more from an instructional video.

Thus far the most instructional, and straight-forth and educational soldering video I've EVER seen. Thank you for the upload!!! This was VERY useful and helpful!!!!
